Wow… only 2 days left until Christmas and somehow I have STILL not finished my shopping. How is it possible that this happens to me every year? I swore last year as I ran around like a fool on Christmas Eve that I would have this all wrapped up (literally) by November in 2009, but somehow I find myself back in exactly the same situation. Next year, all online shopping, I am starting in June! Mark my words, this is the last time I will be in a shopping mall for a long time…

The hardest thing about the last minute Christmas shopping is lugging my poor, innocent 13 ½ month old along for the ride with me! As I haul the poor kid in and out of his stroller a hundred times, roasting away in his full-body snowsuit, fighting the crowds trying to grab that last large striped sweater on sale at Banana Republic, it’s written all over his face… Why Mummy? Why did you leave it all to the very last second, AGAIN? Next year, Jas, all online, I promise!

Hope you are all more organized than I! Happy happy holidays to everyone, and don’t forget to check out the awesome Boxing Day and New Year’s Day sales at Hatley…. Great way to get started on next year’s shopping ☺!
